CONFERENCE PROGRAMME

FRIDAY, 17 OCTOBER:
Active Life and Epilepsy - Epilepsy in the Family and Communication of Our Information

The last day of the conference will offer the opportunity to look at epilepsy within the family and to examine how we communicate our information, especially in the media and on the internet. The day will begin with a satellite breakfast seminar. Thereafter, the topics of the main sessions will be Epilepsy in the Family - Adults; Epilepsy in the Family - Children; The Side Effect of Miscommunication: Communicating our Information; How to Cope with Media.

There will also be an afternoon session, the EUCARE Best Practice Seminar. The afternoon workshops, which again are connected to the main sessions, will be on Epilepsy in the Family and Media and Internet. The conference will come to a close with a concluding session, summarising and highlighting the information conveyed throughout the conference.
